With the revised Safer at Home order issued by Governor Evers, the Waunakee Public Library will begin to offer curbside pickup of items placed on hold beginning on April 28. Our regular pickup hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM. These hours will be in effect until the Safer at Home order expires or is lifted and are subject to change.
Pick-up of items must be arranged in advance by appointment only. Pick-ups will take place in the parking lot directly in front of the Library’s main entrance. Here are the steps for using curbside services:
1. Place holds on items through LINKcat online or by calling the Library during business hours. Because there is no delivery between libraries at this time, all holds must be placed on items available at and owned by the Waunakee Library. See our how-to video for a demo of how to find available titles.
2. When you are notified that your hold(s) are available, call the Library at 608-849-4217 to schedule a pickup time.
3. To pick up items, arrive at your scheduled appointment time, and park in front of the Library in the designated pickup location. Pop your trunk and Library staff will place your bagged items in your trunk for you.
4. At this time, we are not accepting returns of library items. All due dates have been extended until July 1. We hope to again accept returns in the near future.
Please call the Library anytime Monday-Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM if you have questions about curbside services, or view our FAQ here.
