Program Description

Event Details

We will learn how to draw an animal who lives in the arctic where it is cold like winter all year long! Your instructor (Cole from The Academy at Lyon Road Art) will show you how to draw a leaping Arctic Fox through demonstration and step-by-step instruction. There will be many supports to help you with your drawing like pictures, how-to-draw sheets, stencils, and more. Each artist will be encouraged to make theirs in their own style so that no two drawings are exactly the same. You can even expect to see pictures and how-to-draw sheets of other Arctic mammals if you prefer to work to do your own thing instead. No matter what you decide, your instructor will guide you to make the best drawing you can while teaching you about sketching with graphite and drawing with colored pencils. Drawing animals is good practice to become a better drawer or illustrator, plus it can be a lot of fun!

For grades 1-4. Registration Required.

As per library policy, parents must remain in the library for the duration of the program.
