Libraries are for everyone!
If you need a signing interpreter, materials in alternate formats, or other accommodations to access a library program or meeting, please contact us at (608) 849-4217. Please give at least one week's advance notice so that arrangements can be made. The library is ADA accessible.
We also offer several different methods to access library materials and services, listed below.

Drive Through Pickup
Call us at (608) 849-4217 to schedule an appointment to pick up your materials at our drive-through window.
To pick up items, pull into our drive-up bookdrop lane and stop at the window. Ring the bell for a few seconds and wait for a librarian to greet you. They will verify your name and send your holds through the drawer for you to take.

Home Delivery Service
The Dane County Library Service Home Service Program supplies materials by mail to qualified individuals who are unable to use the library due to an ongoing physical condition.
Anyone interested in participating in this program should call (608) 266-4419 weekdays, 8:00am - 4:00pm, for additional information or email driscoll@dcls.info.

Dementia Friendly
All library staff are trained in Dementia Friendly practices and service.
A Dementia Friendly Community is one that recognizes the challenges faced by those with dementia and supports them so that they may remain independent and engaged in the community life. These trainings gives staff tips on recognizing dementia, communicating effectively, and adjusting the physical environment to best support individuals with memory impairment and their caregivers.
