Ballet storytime with Madison Ballet Special Projects is a joyful, interactive program. Our spring storytime program brings the beloved book "Giraffes Can’t Dance" to life through movement and imagination. Children and families will enjoy a narrated storytime with felt characters, followed by a playful ballet lesson where young movers learn simple ballet steps. Along the way, participants will explore how choreographers create new dances, discovering ideas like space, rhythm, and movement quality and learn that there are many different ways to move and express yourself. Perfect for inspiring creativity, confidence, and a love of dance!

Recommended for ages 3-6, but all are welcome to attend. No registration required.
