Library Director's update for the week of March 23

This week, I have asked library staff to stay home and work remotely if possible so as to socially distance staff from one another and reduce our risks of transmission. Unfortunately, this means that we will be unable to provide services via telephone during weekdays as we had planned. Staff will occasionally check voicemails when possible, but the best way to reach us for now is at or on our Facebook page. We have staff monitoring both accounts.

All checked out items have been given a due date of May 1, 2020.  The due dates may be extended again in the future should libraries remain closed indefinitely.  There are NO OVERDUE FINES being accrued on your accounts.  Our bookdrop is closed.  Please hold on to your items until we re-open.

Staff are discussing what limited library services could be possible should this shutdown continue for a great length of time, if public health conditions permit.

More updates to come. Stay healthy! Stay safe! Stay home!
