Dr. David Mickelson "Glacial Landscapes of Wisconsin"
Tuesday, March 9, 7:00 p.m.
Presented by Dr. David Mickelson. Dr. Mickelson will guide us through our state’s unique land features such as kettle holes and drumlins, highlighting features along the 1200-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail using slides from modern glaciers. The lecture will conclude with questions and answers and a display provided by the Ice Age Trail Alliance.
Dr. Patty Leow "The Native People of Wisconsin"
Monday, March 22, 7:00 p.m.
Dr. Patty Loew will chronicle the twelve Indian Nations of Wisconsin.  She will focus on their common historical experiences which will include encounter, migration, boarding schools, allotment and revitalization, as well as the characteristics that make each community culturally distinct. There will also be a display of art and books relevant to the lecture.
Therese Allen "The Flavor of Wisconsin: History and Culture through Recipes"
Tuesday, April 20, 7:00 p.m.
Presented by author Terese Allen.  She will share the stories behind some of our states favorite foods and recipes for varied foodways (culinary folklore) such as cream puffs, Hmong egg rolls and fish boils.  The program will conclude with a lesson on Wisconsin cheese and a cheese sampling.
Richard March

"From Deutschland to Dutchman: German-American Music in the Upper Midwest"
Tuesday, May 11, 7:00 p.m.
Richard March will weave a melodic tale as he addresses the German-American immigrants' regional folk music styles and traditions in Wisconsin. His talk and musical demonstration will address the origins, history and outstanding musicians of the German-American heritage who have shaped these music traditions.
