Have you heard about the cloud, but don't know what that means? In this class, we explore the cloud using Google Drive. We will learn about the different Google applications offered on Google Drive that allow you to create and store files in "the cloud." We will also cover file and folder organization, as well as sharing and permissions.
Students should come prepared with an active google account. If you don't already have an account, you can sign up for one at www.google.com. You will have the option to create an email account with Google (using their Gmail application) or by using an existing active email account.
Laptops with Windows 7 will be provided or you may bring your own laptop (please let us know in the "special needs" section of your registration so we can open more spaces for provided computers).
