This reading program is especially geared to the "Read-to-me" set and for those just developing their new reading skills. Second through fifth graders will join our regular reading program.
To join, come in and pick up a reading record and keep track of minutes you spend reading or being read to. You can win up to three prizes a week. After 240 minutes, you may pick up a coupon for a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut (only one per summer and available for preschoolers, ages 3 and up, through 8th grade). Your name will be entered into weekly drawings for books after you have read or been read to for 1 1/2 hours. This also entitles you to autograph our "Celebrity Reader's" Board.

Budding actors and actresses going into Grades 3 and up are invited to join our drama club in its presentation of the play "Arabian Nights."
Rehearsals will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 4 through Thursday, August 7. Family and friends are invited to the performance on Thursday, August 7, at 7 p.m. Registration for the Drama Club will be held from July 1 through July 18. Buddy Bears
Take one of our "Buddy Bears" with you on your vacation. These nine library bears will be available once school is out for the summer. You and your bear are invited to send a postcard to the library. Postcards and photos of your travels will be displayed at the library.
