Reference Service

Assistance is available for locating information on any subject.  The library's reference collection offers a variety of materials in both print and electronic formats to help individuals with their information needs.  Workstations featuring electronic formats provide indexes to magazines, business information, several atlases and encyclopedias and access to the Internet.  Questions?  Call us and we will make every attempt to find the answers for you.

Career Center

You can improve your job-hunting skills, plan for college or study for your GED with materials available from the Career Center.  JobNET, a state-wide listing of job openings is available for public use.  We also have software to help you design a winning resume.

Homebound Service

Those confined to their homes, permanently or temporarily, may request delivery of materials.

Local History Materials

All issues of the Waunakee News (1896 - 1900) and the Waunakee Tribune are available on microfilm at the library.  We also have an extensive collection of news clippings and photographs for use in the library.

Special Services

If you need a signing interpreter, materials in alternate formats, or other accommodations to access a library program or meeting, please contact us at 849-4217.  Please give us at least one week's advance notice so that arrangements can be made.  The library is ADA accessible.

Services for Licensed Daycare Providers

Multimedia story kits are available for a 14 day loan.

Photocopier

Copies can be made for 10¢ per page.

Computers & the Internet

The library has seven internet stations, as well as wireless access, for public use.  We have an additional four PCs for word processing with Internet access. Patrons must sign an Internet Use Agreement form before using the Internet.  Children under the age of 18 must have parental permission to use the Internet.
