Movies on VHS and DVD

Videocassettes & DVDs are available for 7 or 28 day loan.

Magazines and Newspapers

The library subscribes to over 150 magazines.  All issues are available for loan, except the most current one.

We receive the Wisconsin State Journal, the Capital Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Monday through Saturday, and the weekly Waunakee Tribune.  Past issues of the Waunakee News (1896 - 1900) and the Waunakee Tribune are available on microfilm.

Storyboxes

The library has a collection of over 150 theme-related storyboxes for younger children available for 14 day loan.

Backpacks-To-Go

A collection of 24 theme-related backpacks for children in grades 3 through 5 is available for 14 day loan.

Bags-o-Books

We have over 25 theme-related bags of books for younger children available for 14 day loan.

Compact Discs

Music compact discs are available for 14 day loan.

Software on CD-ROM

We have programs for children and adults available for 14 day loan.

Audiobooks

Many popular books for children, young adults and adults are available on tape or CD for 28 day loan.

Daycare Kits

Twenty theme-related kits are available for use by pre-schools and licensed daycare providers for 14 day loan.

Low Vision Materials

An extensive collection of large print books are available for 28 day loan.  In addition, the library serves as a contact center for patrons desiring Braille or  Talking Book service, which is provided free by the Library of Congress.
