The Great American Eclipse Viewing Party

When:
Monday, August 21, 2017 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm

Meet at the Waunakee Public Library to view The Great American Eclipse.   The eclipse will begin around 11:50 a.m. and will last until about 2:37pm. We expect 80-85% coverage of the sun to happen around 1:15pm in our location.

In addition to viewing the eclipse, we will have some indoor activities, as well as a streaming of NASA’s live video of the event.  Plan to come out rain or shine!

Eclipse viewing glasses will be provided. This drop-in event is for all ages.

Unfortunately, we are all out of eclipse glasses. Check out NASA's website for more guidelines on how to safely view the eclipse.

Eclipse Shades® are provided through STAR_Net Libraries.  The 2017 Solar Eclipse project is funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation through Grant GBMF5373 to the Space Science Institute.  Google has provided additional funding
