Q: What is the purpose of the Forever Fund (Endowment)?
A: The Waunakee Public Library Endowment Campaign intends to raise $100,000 to qualify for $50,000 in matching grant funds from the Madison Community Foundation (MCF) resulting in a $150,000 Forever Fund for the Waunakee Public Library. Interest on the Forever Fund will be used for additional programming, technology improvements, staff development and special projects.
Q: What is the project timeline for the Endowment Campaign?
A: Over the course of 13 months (Dec. 1, 2008-Dec. 31, 2009), the MCF will match $1 for every $2 of donated funds raised up to $50,000. An extension of this timeline could be requested.

Q: Can I make a pledge to the Forever Fund?
A: The Madison Community Foundation will accept all asset classes or a written pledge indicating commitment of funds. Multi-year pledges are also acceptable. MCF will be responsible for receipt and acknowledgement of your tax deductible donations.
