After-School Adventures
After school programs are held once a month during the school year on a Thursday from 3:10 to 4:00 p.m. These programs, for children in grades K - 4, are different every month and often include special guests! Registration is required for each adventure.  Registration begins on the first day of each month.

Dinosaurs

March 11

Have fun learning about the lifestyles, behaviors and adaptations of dinosaurs with activities, stories, and a recreated fossil bed in this program from the Madison Children’s Museum. Registration required, begins March 1.



Laura
Ingalls
Wilder

April 15

 
One of our most beloved authors, Laura Ingalls Wilder, was born in Wisconsin in 1867. See Mrs. Wilder (portrayed by Patricia Day) and hear stories about pioneer life. You may even want to read one of Mrs. Wilder’s great book before the program! Registration required, begins April 1.
