Drama Club - Polynesian Dreams
August 2-5
Registration required, begins July 6.
Rehearsals: All rehearsals, plus the performance, take place in the Library Programming room at 9:30-11:30 Monday through Thursday, August 2-5. Please be prompt, as practice time for this show is of short duration.
Performance: 7pm on Thursday evening, August 5. Actors should arrive Thursday evening at 6:30 before the show.
A Smart Idea: Copy the script so you will always have one at home, in case a script gets left behind at rehearsal.
Costumes:
Girls should wear brightly colored tops without text, a sarong-style skirt--not too long-- tied on the side. This item can be made from a large rectangle of fabric, and tropical prints and/or bright colors are preferred. Girls may have floral hair ornaments if desired, and jewelry that works with the theme.
Boys should wear brightly colored shirts without text, and shorts (cargo shorts would work great).
Costumes should be brought to Wednesday's rehearsal.
There will be a Cast Party immediately after the show on Thursday night, outside, weather permitting. Each family is asked to bring a potluck treat item.
Note: A beverage will be provided, as will cups, napkins, and plates.
